It’s a Reason rack plugin, so you would use multiple instances like you would with any other plugin instrument. Plenty of VSTs have multi-outs and sync to tempo. Otherwise, nothing else you mentioned would be affected at all. The only thing you’re actually losing without Rewire as you mentioned is Regroove, which I agree is a considerable loss. Then there’s which instrument get focused on in a DAWs piano roll? For instance,if you choose an nnxt, redrum or Thor which will be controlled in the host piano roll? I’m still not sure how they will handle multiple outs as a plugin.

Without rewire I will no longer upgrade period. Rewire is the only reason I used and stayed with Reason this long. Regrooved drums with MPC settings is lost with Reason as a plugin. Dr Rex tempo adjustment will be lost as a plug-in.

This update installs the ReWire and Rex shared libraries in the way Windows Vista expects them to be installed. I can do drums in S1 and load up a dr Rex and let the loop adjust to tempo. Reason version 4 users need not worry about this, it's all been taken care of. You can hit play/stop/rewind and chose a loop point which shows in Reason and Studio One while Rewired together. I would often do drums in Reason which I could send any sound to a direct out to an input in S1. My workflow with Reason and Studio 1 was flawless. The people who say Rewire is bad just didn’t understand it or chose a host DAW that didn’t handle Rewire well imo.

Can i have Reason 10.4 and Reason 11 installed both at the same time? If answer is YES then all fine.Ģ. With that being said - hopefully someone from PH will have time to answer this:ġ. What about my projects which involve reWire. However new question is raised in my mind. Want to master Microsoft Excel and take your work-from-home job prospects to the next level?
